Local Chefs & Restaurants from Centre Wellington

  • Experience the culinary talents of 15 renowned local chefs and restaurants, each offering their unique culinary creations and showcasing the best of Centre Wellington’s cuisine.

Celebrity Chef Michael Smith: Oysters on the Bridge

  • Meet Celebrity Chef Michael Smith and savor his special presentation of “Oysters on the Bridge,” an exclusive culinary experience highlighting his expertise and passion for local seafood.

Kids Zone Featuring the Food School and The Elora Centre for the Arts

  • A dedicated area for children to learn and play with their food, featuring interactive and creative arts activities inspiring and entertain young food enthusiasts.

Beer Garden: Elora Brewery & Elora Distillery

  • Relax and enjoy a refreshing drink in the Beer Garden, featuring a selection of craft beers from Elora Brewery and artisanal spirits from Elora Distillery.

Local Music and Entertainment

  • Enjoy a variety of live music performances and entertainment, adding to the festive atmosphere and ensuring there’s something for everyone to enjoy.
  • Stop by the Gorge Cinema (43 Mill St W, Elora) for free screenings of “A Nation’s Table: Anita Stewart and the Food Day Canada Story“, a new-release 11 minute short documentary film from Ward 1 Studios. These free screenings begin at 3:00 pm with a final screening at 4:55 pm. Visitors are welcome for any of the 8 screenings during that time, on a first-come first-serve, with no advance tickets required. Subject to theatre capacity.

Official Event Opening – Cake Cutting

  • To honour our founder, the late Anita Stewart, Culinary Activist and Canadian Food Champion, we are starting with dessert and a cake cutting for our first arriving guests on the Jack R. MacDonald Bridge @ 4pm.
