Bushwakker Brewpub, Regina, Saskatchewan
The folks at Bushwakker Brewpub in Regina demonstrate their commitment to all things local through their beer and food, but they’ve also made themselves a popular venue for local music. As well as their menu, the pub has 9 regular beers (brewed year round), 20 seasonal beers (brewed only at certain times of the year) and a specialty mead.
“We have a commitment to quality that is unique. We are dedicated to quality in everything we do, not just in brewing. To achieve quality we use very few prepared products, either in our kitchen or our bar. Not only is our beer produced in our own brewery from high quality basic brewing ingredients, but our food is also produced in our kitchen from high quality basic cooking ingredients,”. – Bushwakker’s Philosophy
2011 was the first year that the team at this rocking brewpub enthusiastically participated in Food Day Canada. Local beer and local bison burgers greeted Roughrider fans as they came and went from a home game, just across the street. Being part of Rider Nation was a huge thrill. And every year since they’ve joined the national party.
AND ON FOOD DAY 2019!!
August 3rd will see The Bushwakker showcase our local cuisine in a nationwide celebration, then present an “out-of-this-world” wheat beer tasting event, later we’ll release a new Motherwell Homestead beer which also celebrates 100th years of Regina aviation history, plus we will demonstrate why we won the “Best Local Burgers” and “Best Local Fries” 2019 awards on two Rider home game days and one big country music concert weekend!
