On July 17th of last year, a new restaurant located at the iconic Sutton Place Hotel in downtown Vancouver, officially opened its doors to the public.
With a signature recipe that blends a respect for the past with a celebration of the modern, Executive Chef Alex Chen’s seafood menu speaks volumes of how far the dining scene has come in Vancouver in the past couple of decades. He takes full advantage of the local bounty available from nearby farms, fisheries and ranches.
The team at Boulevard contains some very familiar names to Vancouverites including Chef de Cuisine Roger Ma and Pastry Chef Jason Pitschke to help lead a kitchen staff of 30, as well as Bar Manager Justin Taylor who absolutely lives to create new and highly personalized cocktails.
