Fresh crop Ontario potatoes are ready, so we will be eating them every way we can. I always make a large pot for dinner, with just a bit of butter and salt. The leftovers are cooled and made into potato salad and/or hash browned for breakfast. New crop Ontario potatoes are also being shipped into local chipping plants, so eating potato chips is definitely a delicious way to support Canadian agriculture.
I am still perfecting my homemade ice cream, and will likely include strawberry and raspberry ice cream for dessert. Ontario dairy and eggs are always in my fridge.
