cookie roscoe of Ontario, Canada

Darcy’s birthday is a good day to celebrate her with a feast. Ron and Wendy from The Green Barn Farmers Market are supplying 25lbs of ribs (I’m getting a deal for buying lots at once for the party), which we’ll BBQ in a tomato sauce sweetened with just a little of last year’s grape jelly. We’ll have two or three salads, one caesar and one with flower petals, made with greens from the market. There’s a salsa that Darcy loves made from mango, purple onion, and tomato diced together, so no doubt that will be around for dipping and putting on stuff too. We’ll see what the wildcrafters at the market bring that week too, as well as some of Monforte’s delicious cheese curds, which I’m addicted to!
Mill Street beer will flow like, well, Mill Street Beer. Everyone loves it, and then we’ll have lots of Niagara wines too.
