Celebrated in the Kawartha Lakes, with food foraged in Ottawa, and from the garden on the lake: lamb kebabs ( La Ferme Albe) with a jumble of Le Coprin mushrooms in a warm potato salad, plus corn on the cob slathered with Sterling Creamery butter, tomatoes and beets from the garden, greens from Bryson Farm, and a wild blueberry pie with ice cream from Pascale Berthiaume. Happy times.
