Since it opened, Envers of Morriston has been a haven for fine dining in the Guelph, K-W, Kitchener area. (Envers of Morriston is centralized on the 401 highway just south of Guelph.)
Chef Ken Hodgins haunts the region for great ingredients. His menu is very seasonal and he has a classic touch with his presentations. Pan-fried rabbit rillettes with walnut ramp pesto, spicy greens & pickled chantrelle mushrooms and Seared Quebec foie gras with brioche French toast, rhubarb chutney, strawberry dust & Rebecca’s rose syrup speak absolutely of “Spring” to me. The wine list has one at garnered the VQA Restaurant Award of Excellence, 2009.

“The Food Day Canada celebration was a huge success at Envers. We ran a la carte as well as the special menu as a prix fixe and almost all of our customers took the Food Day menu. We had a great turn out for it and a lot of people were very interested in the background story that went along with the celebration. I look forward to continuing the tradition in the years to come.”
