Like it’s sister restaurants, The Breadalbane in Fergus, and the Nith River Chop House in Wellesley, the Drayton Chop House is all about local food. They partner with Smoyd Farm, and Mapleton’s Organic Farm, and they also source their meat locally. Local, premium, heavily aged steaks and chops are what they do best. It’s a casual, country sort of place very close to the regionally well-known Drayton Festival Theatre.
Owner Peter Egger, of Egger Hospitality writes; “At the Drayton Chop House we are continually seeking out ways to bring our customers the highest quality, fresh, seasonal ingredients in a responsible and sustainable manner. Our commitment is to buy locally whenever possible and to select vendors and partners that share our values.”
