The Bloomfield Carriage House is widely known for exquisite cuisine which includes house made charcuterie, such as boar or elk pâté, rillette and salami using the County’s meats, long fermented sourdoughs made with very local flour which they bake into what’s been dubbed as ‘best bread in the County’ and fantastic pastries in The Marshmallow Room (Could there be a better name for a pastry shop?).
Chef Scott Kapitan has a deep culinary intelligence that comes with his passion for serving forth excellent meals from the purveyors of the region — Blaine Way’s Tamworth pork prosciutto, Moonshine Farm’s oyster mushrooms, Flintshire Farm’s pheasant. His menus are filled with the names of his suppliers/friends.
